Warren looked into the envelope and saw Emma Stone on the card, then looked at the envelope and saw Best Actress. He looked up confused as no actor's name would've been on the card for Best Picture. My guess is he started to look around as if he had just been pranked. I think he told Faye to look at it. She just grabbed it from him and blurted out La La Land without reading it. I read mentioned in another thread that there were two sides that actors could enter the stage from, and if actors are anything like musicians, ya just never know which direction they're going to be coming from, explaining why there was another card out there loose.
